Electrical Panel Builder
PURPOSE:
Eugene/Springfield industrial electrical contractor has an immediate opening for an Electrical Panel Builder to build large electrical control panels for industrial purposes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of all types of hand tools
Ability to read drawings and schematics
Ability to take measurements and perform basic mathematical functions
Ability to keep work area clean and organized
Problem solving skills
Proven accuracy in assembly
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to work independently. Must demonstrate personal initiative, motivation
Reliable and punctual
Good work ethic and positive attitude
Basic computer knowledge
Friendly, professional demeanor
Planning/organizational skills to assists in planning upcoming projects
Uses time efficiently
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires visual acuity, the ability to communicate in person and over the phone, and manual dexterity. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, climb, pull, lift and carry (up to 50 lbs.).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Electrical Theory/Electrical Experience
Prior experience in assembling electrical control panels in a UL-508 panel shop a plus
Experience with lighting, j-boxes, consoles, power panels, outlets, switches, transformers and motors a plus
ENVIRONMENT:
Performances of duties are mostly in our panel shop and/or office environment. Normal operating hours are between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, including a lunch time.
Must be available to work long shifts, weekends, and overtime.
