At Valora, we treat our patients like family and we understand that providing quality medical care and an exceptional patient experience across all our centers requires having an outstanding team.We recognize the hard work that our team members put in and offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a dynamic work environment.We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team to provide outpatient primary care services to our senior population.Outpatient only (M-F, 7:00am-4:00pm)Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish for this clinic location.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluate, assess, and treat patients’ medical conditionsOrder lab and other diagnostic testing and interpret resultsMaintain confidentiality and impartiality at all timesCollect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reportsPerform minor proceduresExplain procedures or prescribed treatments to patientsLiaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitalsPromote health education in conjunction with other health professionalsMeet targets set by the government for specified treatmentsDiscuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representativesKeep up to date with medical developments, treatment, and medicationObserve and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students as neededAssist with supervising mid-level providers as needed. Qualifications/Education:Degree in Medicine (required). 5 years of residency training (required). Current Texas medical license and Federal DEA license (required). 2+ years of clinical work experienceBilingual in English and Spanish (required)Fantastic counseling and listening skills. Superb organizational and time management skills. Excellent decision-making skills and communication. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease. Great management and leadership skills.
