About The Job:Schafler & Camera Attorneys at Law – Shelton, Connecticut. We are seeking a candidate for our medical decision team who demonstrates exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Include: Serve as the primary contact for visitor inquiriesProcessing medical consent documents for procedures ranging from surgeries to vaccines Reviewing and obtaining signatures for release of information (ROI) requests Updating client information Communicating with clients and their families, social workers, hospitals, care facilities, and funeral homes Retrieving important documents such as birth and death certificates, medical records and discharge paperwork Qualifications: No advanced degrees or certifications required 1 year working in legal or administrative work is preferredStrong personality Exceptional communication skills Problem solving and critical thinking skills Working knowledge and comfort with Microsoft office programs Benefits: Competitive salary 401k with employer match Health insurance available About Us: At Schafler & Camera Attorneys at Law we are committed to delivering compassionate, respectful, and seamless services to our clients and their families. The firm is led by attorneys Noah Schafler and Katrina Camera. Attorney Camera is one of the most active conservators in the state of Connecticut, currently serving as court-appointed conservator for over 1,500 individuals. She is entrusted with managing the personal and/or financial affairs of her clients as appointed by the probate court. In addition to our experienced attorneys, our team includes a diverse group of skilled paralegals specializing in key areas such as banking, healthcare, housing, and state benefits. Our multi-disciplinary teams allow us to support our clients with care, efficiency, and confidence in all areas of conservatorship responsibilities. This team-based approach ensures that every client receives comprehensive, compassionate, and efficient care tailored to their individual needs.
