IT Operations Engineer (Contract/Hybrid)

IT Operations Engineer (Full Time, 3-month Contract/3x Hybrid in Naperville, IL)Optomi, in partnership with one of our clients, is seeking an IT Ops Engineer to support and help evolve a growing digital workplace environment within a fast-paced, high-growth organization. This role is focused on bridging the gap between traditional IT support and modern workplace engineering, supporting the technologies and infrastructure that directly impact end-user productivity and day-to-day business operations. The engineer will be responsible for supporting and administering Windows and macOS environments, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID while also assisting with office WiFi, connectivity, conference room technology, and endpoint lifecycle management initiatives. This position will play a key role in helping build and mature the IT Operations function through automation, remote deployment strategies, troubleshooting, and operational improvements across the digital workplace ecosystem.
