Educational Consultant (CASE MANAGER)

Position: Part Time Educational Consultant -Transfer School Specialist ( Multi Site) Schedule: Monday – Friday (5 hrs. a Day) 9 AM - 2 PM About Us Department of Education Contractors who have expanded. Seeks a candidate with strong case management, computer, and multitasking skills to join our team as a transfer specialist for NYC high schools . Responsibilities The Transfer Specialist (TS) ( Consultant )Role is to provide an alternative educational solution to scholars that’s more conducive to meeting HS graduation requirements. Consultant Works closely with the (ECT) Educational Crisis Team, students and their families, school guidance counselors and transfer schools. The Consultant contacts and meets with families as well as transfer schools to connect scholars to a more suitable educational setting in order to meet graduation requirements. May do some home visits and escort students to different schools when needed. Qualifications Must be Bilingual ( Spanish and English ) Strong Word and Excel, Google docs, email correspondence) Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Must have good time management Strong Case Management Skills Able to multi task Problem solving Relationship building skills Must work at a fast pace. Work well with students from diverse backgrounds Must have the ability to learn new systems Education / Misc High School Diploma or Equivalent / Some College DOE fingerprinted a Plus Job Type: Part-time Pay: $125.00 per day Schedule: 4 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Do you have strong Computer Skills ?
