Job DescriptionCAD Technician | Tampa, FLThe applicant will assist engineers and Senior CAD Technicians in the development of AutoCad Civil 3D and Microstation Connect OBM developed plans and details with a primary focus on traffic and roadway plan production.ResponsibilitiesDaily in person presence at the Tampa Office locationObtain guidance from Traffic & Roadway Engineers, and Senior CAD TechniciansUse computer drafting software to prepare high-quality design plans for signing & pavement marking, traffic signal layouts, temporary traffic control, roadway geometrics, and other transportation related plansCorrect mark-up drawingsTake verbal direction and hand sketches to create CAD format detailsManage project data filesAssist in assembling complete plan sets for FDOT and municipal traffic projectsEnsure traffic related sheets comply with DOT standardsQualifications2 years of related industry experience.Proficiency in at least one CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation Open BridgeAbility to read and interpret engineering construction drawingsAbility to think 3-dimensionallyAbility to work independently and accomplish multiple tasksTeam-focused and enthusiasticAssociates Degree or Technical CollegeJob Requirements
