Key Responsibilities Include: Collections of aged accounts Accurate and timely claims follow-up including claim resubmissions, appeals, and payer projects Identify payer trends and work with appropriate team members to reach resolution Respond to insurance requests promptly and in a professional manner Review and resolve rejected claims Maintain accurate and detailed notes on account for proper claim follow-up Other tasks as assigned Preferred Qualifications: - Medical collection experience - Proficiency in medical office operations - Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems - Strong understanding of medical terminology and records -Experience with Microsoft applications Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
