We are seeking a skilled Telecom Field Technician to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems, including phone, internet, and cable services. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality commercial customer service and system reliability. The technician will work on-site at various locations, diagnosing technical issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. No residencial clients. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently manage time and work independently, following detailed instructions. Expertise in pulling, terminating, and managing various cable types. Proficient in different cable installation methods. Capable of mounting and installing backboards, cross-connect racks, and patch panels. Install and configure telecommunications equipment. Troubleshoot and repair faults in telecom networks. Perform regular maintenance on network components. Educate customers on the use of installed equipment and provide exceptional customer service. Keep detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Maintain a keen attention to detail and follow established procedures Required Tools: A list of the required tools will be provided at the interview. Qualifications: Technical diploma or equivalent experience in telecommunications. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the telecommunications field. Strong understanding of telecom systems and equipment, including knowledge of BICSI national standards. Exceptional customer service skills and experience. Ability to work in various outdoor and indoor environments. Excellent problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different sites.
