Clinical Rater

Clinical Rater Seeking a Clinical Rater for an onsite per-diem contract in Media/West Chester, PA, supporting clinical research studies for approximately 1–2 days/week (schedule varies with patient visits) over a 3–4 month assignment with potential extension. The rater will conduct diagnostic interviews and administer standardized scales (e.g., MADRS, SIGH-D/SIGH-A, CGI, C-SSRS) to ensure accurate, protocol-compliant data collection, and complete required study trainings quickly. Responsibilities Administer structured clinical rating scales (e.g., MADRS, SIGH-D, SIGH-A, CGI, CSSRS) and other cognitive assessments to research participants. Conduct diagnostic interviews to assess patient symptom severity and confirm diagnoses. Record and document findings in compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements. Ensure data integrity by following standardized procedures. Collaborate with clinical research coordinators, investigators, and other team members. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. Participate in team meetings to review patient data and progress. Stay current with new research protocols, rating scales, and industry standards. Coordinate study protocols under the direction of the Principal Investigator. Attend investigator meetings for new and ongoing studies. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Requirements PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) or Masters of Social Work required 1-2 years of clinical research scale experience (50-100 administrations for each scale in the past year, preferred). Means and ability to commute to both offices in Media, PA and West Chester, PA Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Calm under pressure and capable of solving sudden problems that may not have clear answers or readily available resources Proficient in navigating unfamiliar technology and programs independently, such as site CTMS Personable Effective communicator who can cooperate as a member of a team Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently within a hierarchy Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite
