We are looking for associates who look forward to coming to work and want to make a positive impact on our production team as a First Shift Welder.What We Offer:Health and welfare benefits are eligible day 1, generous PTO plan, 11 paid holidaysQuarterly attendance bonuses401(k) plan with company match What Our Location Offers You:A quant village in Dodge County founded on a railroad line named for the iron mined in the areaLocated 50 minutes away from Wisconsin’s largest city, MilwaukeeGreat team environment in which you matter and make a differenceWhat You Will Do:Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions: Vertical, horizontal, or overheadRead blueprints / drawings and take / read measurements to plan layout and proceduresDetermine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirementsSet up components for welding according to specifications Operate angle grinders when necessary to prepare parts to be weldedAlign parts to be welded using calipers, rulers, measuring tapes, clamps, fixtures…etc. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flawsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyWhat You Bring:Proficient in GMAW (gas metal arc welding) and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)Capable of adjusting machines to different material thicknessAbility to troubleshoot and problem solveAble to communicate and work/weld with othersAbility to lift up to 50 pounds routinelyAdditional Requirements: Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a weld test to D1.2 AWS (American Welding Society, Structural Welding Code - Aluminum)Check out the COOL things we’ve been up to!Cube Cooling for Frac TruckTurnkey Solutions for Nonalcoholic Beer & WineHeat Exchanger for Pharmaceuticals
