Deputy Medical Examiner I is the entry-level class in this series. Minimum QualificationsA valid license to practice medicine in the State of California is required at the time of appointment (State of California Business and Professions Code 2135); AND2. Must obtain board certification in Forensic Pathology within one year of hire; AND3. Board certified in Anatomic Pathology; AND,4. Are in a Forensic Pathology Fellowship; OR,5.
