Registered Nurse - OBGYN/Fertility

Job DescriptionUtilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining the knowledge and abilities essential to the performance of stated behaviors. Carries out legal responsibilities within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act. Accountable to the NURSE SVC SUPV 2 for overall work performance.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Two years RN clinical experience Two years RN fertility experience Active RN licensure in the State of CaliforniaActive American Heart Association CPR CertificationActive ACLS Certification Successfully completes the Moderate Sedation Module Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, detail-oriented, flexible, and have excellent communication skills Strong leadership skills Computer skills The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations Preferred Qualifications Ambulatory experience OBGYN experienceAPEX/EMR experienceSedation narrator experienceREI experienceLicense/CertificationsActive RN licensure in the State of CaliforniaActive American Heart Association CPR CertificationActive ACLS Certification
