Work in both the office and in the field in all types of weather conditions to support a 24/7 operation.Essential FunctionsMonitor field activities to ensure safety compliance, reporting observations for continuous improvement.Provide oversight for various project activities, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.Conduct QA/QC checks to meet FRA and Amtrak safety standards for train operations.Coordinate track projects with internal and external departments, managing labor schedules.Efficiently plan and allocate resources for timely task completion.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience. Plus 6 years of relevant work experience.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience. Plus 8 years of relevant work experience.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesEffectively communicate with employees and customers at all organizational levelsProficient in MS Office applications for various job functionsDemonstrated expertise in inspection, maintenance, and constructionExperienced in railroad operations, operating rules, and production work proceduresKnowledgeable about Federal Railroad RegulationsThe salary/hourly range is $122,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employee’s assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee’s base salary.
