This role is responsible for high-volume sourcing and screening activities to deliver qualified, interview-ready candidates to hiring leaders in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.The Talent Acquisition Specialist focuses on building candidate pipelines, conducting structured phone screens, and maintaining consistent funnel activity to meet weekly hiring targets. This role partners closely with hiring leaders and recruiting peers to ensure speed, quality, and data integrity while delivering a strong candidate experience.This position operates within established SLAs and recruiting processes and is expected to manage multiple requisitions and markets simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.Must work onsite in our Lehi, UT office. Key ResponsibilitiesHigh-Volume Sourcing & ScreeningProactively build and maintain pipelines for technical and customer-facing roles across multiple marketsConduct structured, competency-based phone screens to assess candidate skills, experience, and motivationPresent vetted candidates to hiring managers with clear summaries and recommendationsMaintain weekly and monthly funnel activity targets (screens, submits, interview ratios)Support hiring velocity while protecting quality standardsPipeline & Requisition ManagementManage multiple open requisitions across markets simultaneouslyMaintain consistent candidate flow to support hiring forecastsMonitor funnel metrics and escalate risks when pipeline gaps emergeCoordinate interview scheduling and handoffs in partnership with recruiting support teamsEnsure candidate movement aligns with established SLAsStakeholder PartnershipPartner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and success profilesProvide market insights and candidate feedback to improve selection outcomesCommunicate status updates, pipeline health, and hiring risks clearly and consistentlyRepresent Talent Acquisition as a reliable, solution-oriented partnerData Integrity & ReportingMaintain accurate and timely documentation in SuccessFactorsUtilize Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint) for collaboration and reportingTrack and manage activity against KPIs and SLAsEnsure candidate records reflect accurate dispositioning and compliance standardsSourcing ExecutionExecute targeted outbound sourcing strategies (referrals, job boards, social platforms, community outreach, hiring events)Engage both passive and active candidatesContribute to ongoing sourcing strategy improvementsSupport hiring events and community recruiting initiatives as neededContinuous ImprovementFollow standardized recruiting processes and contribute feedback for improvementMaintain consistency in screening quality and candidate experienceAdapt quickly to changing hiring needs and business prioritiesDemonstrate ownership of performance metrics and personal developmentRequired Qualifications1-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume environmentsExperience sourcing and screening candidates across multiple channelsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced settingStrong organizational and time management skillsClear and concise written and verbal communication skillsComfortable operating in a metric-driven environmentTechnical SkillsExperience with ATS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred)Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)Ability to interpret and manage recruiting performance metricsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting multi-location or geographically dispersed hiringExperience recruiting for field, technical, customer service, or sales rolesFamiliarity with operating within defined SLAs and performance metricsExposure to telecom, home services, utilities, or installation environmentsWho Thrives In This RoleYou move quickly while staying organized and detail-orientedYou balance speed with quality and protect the candidate experienceYou take accountability for your metrics and resultsYou are coachable, resilient, and motivated by hitting goalsYou operate as a reliable partner and team contributorNRG Energy is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
