Certified Recreational Therapist (CTRS)
The Recreational Therapist (CTRS) provides therapeutic recreation services within a 84-bed psychiatric facility.Evaluates and implements programs to enhance patients' physical and mental health based on physician directives.Develops treatment plans with clear short and long-term goals, tailoring activities to patient needs.Conducts group and individual recreation activities, ensuring effective planning and scheduling, including evenings and weekends.Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and participates in intern education.Responsible for modifying activities based on patient responses to mental health or behavioral issues.**Requirements:**Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy or related field from an accredited university.Board-certified and licensed as a CTRS by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.**Benefits include:**Referral bonuses, competitive pay, paid time off, comprehensive health plans, 401(k), career development, and more.**Work Environment:**In-person, full-time position focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered recreational therapy aligned with facility standards and regulations.
