Job Details Locums Orthopedic Surgery Location: Louisiana (near Lafayette)Duration: April OngoingSchedule: 5-7 shifts per month available (100% flexible schedule)Shift: 7a-7aCall: 24-hour ED call coverage + seeing post op patients in clinic M-F (only if on call)Volume: Primarily phone consults from ED, 2-10 per day (most of which are seen in clinic the following day)Scope: Full-service Ortho Call (hospitalists do admissions)Cases: Hip fractures, tibia/fibula fractures, femur fractures, ankle fractures/dislocations, distal radius comminuted, humerus/elbow/forearm fractures, compartment syndromeEMR: EpicRequirements: Louisiana license preferred, IMLC acceptedAdditional Openings:Wyoming (near Yellowstone, 10 min from airport)Pennsylvania (Philadelphia)
