CNC Operator
Job Summary:
As a CNC Machinist 2, you will independently set up and operate CNC Mill and/or CNC Lathe, ensuring the production of high-quality parts. This mid-level position requires a solid understanding of CNC machining, tool selection, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including tool selection and calibration.
- Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to produce precise components.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure part quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues independently.
- Maintain detailed records of production runs, tool usage, and machine maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and efficiency.
- Train and mentor CNC Machinist 1 team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machining.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with different types of CNC machines and programming languages.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
