Project Manager - Asset Manager

Seeking a highly experienced Asset Management Project Manager to play a critical leadership role in a large-scale ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics 365). This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting a multi-phase transformation initiative that will modernize core business and operational systems.This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders, cross-functional business units, and an external implementation partner to ensure successful delivery across all phases of the ERP lifecycle—from discovery through post-implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage asset and work management workstreams within the ERP implementationDrive project execution across multiple business units, ensuring alignment and stakeholder buy-inCollaborate with internal PMO, business stakeholders, and external implementation partner to deliver project milestonesProvide leadership across diverse teams spanning multiple functional areasOversee planning, scheduling, risk management, and issue resolutionSupport the solution verification (discovery) phase and subsequent implementation phaseEnsure effective communication and coordination during key project events (e.g., kickoffs, vendor sessions, UAT)Identify gaps in expertise and help coordinate additional SME support as neededRequired QualificationsSenior-level project management experience with a strong track record of successful large-scale implementationsDemonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple business areasStrong organizational and execution skills with high attention to detailExperience with Asset Management and Work Management systemsHands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementationsBackground in utility operationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with IBM MaximoPrior experience working alongside third-party implementation partners
