Pho Redbo isn't a typical pho shop. We serve A5 Wagyu, hormone-free beef sourced from the US, Australia, and Japan, and guests come from across statelines specifically for it. That means our servers aren't just taking orders — you're the person explaining why the wagyu beef is worth the upgrade, and guests remember you for it.
We're hiring a server for our Palos Verdes (Southbay) location. If you're warm with people and you learn fast, we'll teach you the rest.
*What you'll do*
* Greet guests and read the table — regulars, first-timers, and people who've driven an hour for the Wagyu all need something different
* Take orders on our POS and know the menu well enough to steer people to the right bowl
* Keep food and drinks moving; check back before guests have to flag you down
* Fix problems on the spot, before they become a review
* Keep your section clean, stocked, and reset
* Work with the kitchen so orders go out right the first time
* Handle payments accurately and follow food safety and sanitation standards
*What we're looking for*
* Genuinely likes people — this is the part we can't train
* Comfortable in a busy dining room and able to juggle several tables without dropping the thread
* Reliable with numbers and cash handling
* Shows up on time and helps teammates without being asked
* Experience with POS, OpenTable, or a food handler card is a plus, not a requirement
* Vietnamese or Spanish is a plus
* Must have a car and driver license
