** Sales Application Engineer – Recycled Material Sorting Machines** **Location:** Albany, OR **About AMVT LLC** AMVT LLC, based in Katy, Texas, is a leading provider of advanced solutions in optical sorting, food inspection, packaging, and material handling. We cater to a variety of industries, including food processing, agriculture, and recycling. We are currently looking for a Sales Application Engineer to support and expand our recycled material sorting machine business throughout the North American market. **Position Summary** As a Sales Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in generating new business, fostering strong customer relationships, and providing technical expertise for our equipment. This hands-on position requires travel for client meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and technical support, including installation and troubleshooting. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify and develop new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals. - Conduct on-site demonstrations, installations, and customer training sessions. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting, both remotely and on-site. - Coordinate product evaluations and sample testing for potential clients. - Represent AMVT at trade shows, industry conferences, and promotional events. - Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and service reports. **Qualifications** - Fluency in English (spoken and written). - Self-starter with a proven track record in sales. - Experience in industrial equipment sales, particularly in food processing, agriculture, recycling, or related fields is preferred. - Familiarity with optical sorting machines or similar technologies is a plus. - A minimum of two years of experience in technical sales, equipment installation, or field service is preferred. - A degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is advantageous. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout North America. **What We Offer** - Competitive salary. - Opportunities for career growth and professional development. - A supportive and collaborative work environment. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated sales professional with a technical background and a passion for innovative solutions, we want to hear from you.
