Freelance Videographer
Our agency is seeking local creative, agile freelance videographer who thrives in event environments and fast-paced, on-the-go productions. This role is ideal for someone who can capture moments in real time and turn them into highly engaging, social-first video content.You’ll work closely with our Creative Director and project management team to execute content across a variety of clients, with a strong focus on short-form, high-performing content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.This is a project-based freelance role with opportunities for ongoing work.What You’ll DoPre-ProductionCollaborate with internal team on shoot planning, run-of-show, and content goalsPrep gear for mobile and event-based productionsAlign with studio/admin team on logistics and schedulingProduction (Core Focus)Capture live events, activations, and on-the-go content with speed and precisionFilm short-form, social-first content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, BTS, etc.)Adapt quickly to changing environments, lighting conditions, and timelinesOperate gimbals, handheld rigs, and lightweight setups for mobilityCapture clean audio when needed in dynamic environmentsIdentify and capture high-engagement moments in real time (crowd, reactions, details, energy)Post-ProductionOrganize, ingest, and back up footage efficientlyEdit high-impact, fast-paced social content optimized for engagementAdd captions, motion graphics, and trending formats/stylesDeliver quick turnarounds when needed (same-day or next-day edits for events)Collaborate with team on revisions and content direction(Bonus) Ability to use After Effects for motion and elevated editsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong eye for storytelling in short-form contentAbility to think like a content creator, not just a videographerComfortable working in fast-paced, unpredictable environmentsStrong sense of what performs well on social media and understands how to capture event coverageReliable, communicative, and able to plug into a team workflowSkilled in drone videography and photography is a bonus but not requiredRequired SkillsDSLR / Mirrorless video productionAdobe Premiere Pro (Intermediate–Advanced)Adobe After Effects (Intermediate+)Experience with event coverage + social content creationGimbal operation (Ronin-S/M or similar)Strong file organization and workflow managementExperience shooting live events and brand activationsCompensation & CommitmentBased on experience and quality/speed of output$40 - $60/hr for ground production$20 - $30/hr for editing Availability: Able to support productions with 48+ hours notice, capturing high-quality video contentOpportunity: Potential for ongoing freelance work based on performance and availability
