This continued recognition further affirms Baylor as a rewarding place to build a career.What We Are Looking ForBaylor University is seeking a Piano Technician to support the Head Piano Technician in maintaining the School of Music's piano inventory. This role is responsible for the tuning, voicing, regulation, repair, and general upkeep of pianos to ensure optimal performance quality for academic and performance needs. The position also assists with inventory management and service documentation.An Associate's degree and one of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience are preferred.All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.What You Will DoPerform regular tuning and comprehensive servicing of pianos, including voicing, regulation, cleaning, and preventative maintenance to ensure instruments meet performance standardsDiagnose and complete repairs on pianos, including part replacement, action adjustments, and rebuilds, to maintain functionality and extend instrument lifespanMaintain accurate records of piano inventory, service history, and movement logs to support asset tracking and maintenance planningProvide occasional tuning and maintenance of harpsichordsPerform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's missionAbility to comply with university policiesMaintain regular and punctual attendanceWhat You Can ExpectAs part of the Baylor family, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous time off, tuition remission, and outstanding automatic retirement contributions.
