With an industry-leading pipeline of projects, strong financial positioning, and talented employees, we look forward to our bright future!Job DescriptionGeneral Objectives:Reporting to the Environmental Supervisor, this position will work with the Environmental team to support environmental compliance at the Marigold Mine.Key Areas Of Responsibilities & DutiesThe key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Conducting surface water, ground water, soils, air quality and other environmental sampling & monitoringAdministrative responsibilities such as maintaining documents and records, managing databases, and related tasksInspecting reagent, petroleum, and other compliance managed storage areas.Prepare environmental compliance reportsTraining of site workforce in environmental issues and controlsAssisting in oversight of environmental contractors and consultantsReporting to and interacting with government officialsMinimum Qualifications And Skill RequirementsAn undergraduate degree from a recognized university required, engineering degree preferredMinimum of three (3) years of experience in the environmental/mining industry or equivalent preferredDemonstrated knowledge of environmental regulatory programs such as CAA, CWA, RCRAProficiency in standard computer software applications requiredAbility to work in unsupervised environment requiredAbility to lift 50 lbs. requiredA safety-conscious and risk-aware mindset is required Experience presenting in front of groups preferredAbility to handle multiple projects concurrentlyAdditional Qualifications And Skill RequirementsValid Driver LicenseSSR Mining Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
