You will be a valued member of Cognizant’s Digital Engineering team, collaborating closely with product managers, technical leaders, designers, and clients to deliver high‑quality, reliable software that creates measurable value for users.In This Role, You WillDesign and implement enterprise‑grade applications and analytics solutions deployed on cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud PlatformAnalyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions, leading discussions with Technical Program Managers and Tech LeadsDevelop full‑stack applications using Java and Spring technologies, following industry best practices for coding, testing, and securityWrite unit tests and ensure applications meet or exceed defined code quality and coverage standardsEnsure features are thoroughly tested and successfully deployed to production environmentsImplement monitoring and observability solutions in alignment with client and project standardsDocument application designs, services, and specifications, and provide guidance to development teams on functional and technical documentationWork modelWe strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. We will always be clear about role expectations.What You Need To Have To Be Considered8–10+ years of experience in Java full‑stack application developmentStrong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring JPAExperience working with messaging systems such as Kafka or other message queuesHands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)Experience or strong understanding of large‑scale, high‑volume application designStrong problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teamsLegal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorshipThese will help you stand outExperience modernizing or supporting enterprise‑scale distributed systemsExposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud‑native architecturesExperience working in agile delivery environments CompensationThe annual salary for this position ranges from $68,422 to $131,500, depending on experience and qualifications.
