Analyze the actual manufacturing costs and prepare a monthly report comparing standard costs to actual costs of production. Present to management the actual monthly costs, point out extraordinary expenditures, illustrate long term cost trends by product and respond to questions from Management. Maintain standard costs for current year and prepare standard costs for future years budgets. Execution of month end and year end processes, aid in closing books for month end and year end and prepare financial statements. Prepare and distribute monthly reports and analysis for scrap, inventory, PPV/IPV, ect., and maintain cost information files. Provide support/ back up for accounts receivable and billing positions. This job typically does not require managing the work of others. This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2 to 4 years of position-related experience; preferably 4 to 6 years of position-related experience. This position may be filled as an Accountant B-Financial Accounting and Reporting, Salary Grade 26, or as an Accountant A- Financial Accounting and Reporting, Salary Grade 27, depending on experience.
