Job Summary
The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing process within our facility. This position is responsible for managing production staff, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in manufacturing processes, assembly line operations, and mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a production crew of 4 during your assigned shift
Ensure production schedule is met with minimal downtime and waste
Perform and coordinate routine machine maintenance and minor repairs
Monitor production efficiency, output, and quality
Maintain accurate data entry and production records
Proactively manage production supplies to avoid shortages or delays
Train new and existing employees on equipment, processes, and safety
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production floor
Report directly to the Production Manager and assist with shift handovers
Skills
Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is preferred.
Previous factory experience in a manufacturing facility is essential.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Familiarity with assembly line processes and best practices in manufacturing.
Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.

Preferred Experience:
