This position reports into the Controller and responsible for the day to day accounting operations (reconciliations, month end close, journal entries). Apply today!ROLE IS ONSITE DAYS/WEEKResponsibilities:Manager the processing of bi-weekly union and non-union salaried and hourly employees.Review timekeeping records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure payroll accuracy.Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings.Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Manage benefit deductions, retirement contributions, and year-end W-2/1099 processing.Respond to employee payroll inquiries and partner with HR on compensation and benefits updates.Prepare payroll reports, support audits, and assist with payroll system enhancements and special projects.Qualifications:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.2+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state and/or union payroll preferred.Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, Vista, or similar platforms.Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.Highly organized with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
