The ideal candidate will assess nutritional needs, support care planning, provide education, and collaborate with care teams to ensure compliance and patient health.Job Quick Facts:\n • Reference #: BD-673-63\n • Profession: Allied Health\n • Specialty: Registered Dietitian (RD) \n • Location: Wilbarger County, Texas\n • Facility Type: Hospital\n • Job Type: Contract- Minimum of 3 months with option to extend\n • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM\n - shift pattern is subject to change as determined by the director to meet the needs of the hospital\n - No holidays, weekends, or after-hours shifts\n • Start Date: June 1, 2026, pending completion of onboarding and compliance\n • Compensation: $45/hrRequirements:\n • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and/or Nutrition \n • Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the National Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics\n • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners\n • Possess a valid Texas driver's license\n • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a Dietitian\n • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with physicians, staff, patients, and families.\n • Must maintain current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.\n • Must comply with agency immunization requirements\n • Must submit to agency-required drug test\n • Must submit to agency-required fingerprinting\n • Must complete facility and agency required training\n • Must comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures and policies.\n • Must adhere to Joint Commission, CMS, and agency standards and directives.\n\nResponsibilities:\n • Providing nutrition care to patients throughout the Hospital.\n • Creating nutrition plans to improve the health and physical conditions of patients.\n • Analyzing the patients' health status, goals, and dietary restrictions\n • Tracking patient's dietary intake and progress and educating patients on how to maintain a balanced diet.\n • Consults to patients, families and treatment team regarding nutrition needs\n • Writing appropriate nutrition related recommendations in the medical record\n • Approving patients' menus and providing this information to the Food Services Director
