MRO BuyerAustin, Texas | 100% onsiteBase Salary: TBDAbout the OpportunityThe MRO Buyer will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing and facility operations by ensuring the timely procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materials. This position is highly visible within the plant and partners closely with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime, optimize inventory levels, and drive cost efficiencies. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, industrial environment.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: TBDBonus: TBDKey ResponsibilitiesProcure MRO materials including spare parts, tools, consumables, and facility suppliesManage purchase orders from requisition through delivery and invoice reconciliationDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providersNegotiate pricing, contracts, and lead times to achieve cost savingsMonitor inventory levels to ensure material availability and reduce downtimePartner with maintenance and operations teams to forecast and plan purchasing needsTrack and analyze spending to identify cost reduction opportunitiesEnsure compliance with procurement policies and proceduresMaintain accurate purchasing data within ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Support urgent and emergency purchasing requests as neededIdeal Candidate ProfileBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred3-5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally within MRO or indirect sourcingExperience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment requiredHands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, plant environmentStrong Excel and data analysis skillsAbout INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
