Upcoming work in Long Island for Election Logistics This is easy work with simple routes and no heavy lifting, transporting election machines and booths all of which are on wheels. Job Summary As an Owner Operator Driver, you will be responsible for operating and managing your own commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations. Duties - Drive a 24- or 26-foot straight truck. - Load and unload goods and materials safely and efficiently. - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning. - Plan routes to meet delivery schedules while considering factors such as traffic and weather conditions. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers. - Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and traffic laws. Experience - Ability to load and unload goods using appropriate equipment. - Commercial driving experience is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with managing own business operations as an owner-operator driver. Each truck requires Air Suspension and a Lift Gate, and you must bring 1 helper. We are paying $650 per day with up to 10 days of work! Our company is rapidly expanding, and we often hire out contract work to complement our own fleet. Anyone who assists on this project will be prioritized for future work!
