About the Role:
WCE Specialty is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our outpatient procedure lab. This role involves providing exceptional pre-, intra- and post-operative care to patients undergoing endovascular procedures. As an RN, you’ll play a critical role in supporting patient safety, comfort, and recovery while working alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Op Care: Prepare patients for procedures, including medical assessments, IV placements, and patient education.
Sedation Assistance: Administer and monitor moderate sedation during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Post-Op Recovery: Monitor and care for patients post-procedure, managing recovery and discharge processes.
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other team members to ensure seamless and efficient patient care.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
Requirements
Licensure: Active RN license in Nevada
Moderate sedation experience
Previous experience in Procedural setting
Excellent peripheral IV start skills
Experience in Pre- and Post-Op setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Experience:
Cath lab/ Interventional Procedures: 1- 2 years (preferred)
Outpatient Procedures: 1 year (preferred)
Assist with sterile procedures (preferred)
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
