Laboratory Technician

Analytical Testing Laboratory (ATL) is a well-established food and beverage laboratory in the greater Boston area. We are looking to hire a positive, motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team! If you're a passionate self-starter looking for lab experience, ATL is the perfect place to grow your career! *\**_*NOTE: THIS IS A FULL-TIME, 30-35 HOURS/WEEK, TUESDAY - SATURDAY POSITION\**_ _*RESPONSIBILITIES:*_ * Receive and process food and beverage samples; prep testing materials as needed * Perform quality control and maintain calibration of equipment * Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area * Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations * Track work hours manually each day by clocking in/out on ADP Mobile _*QUALIFICATIONS:*_ * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred * 1-2 years of experience working in a lab desired but not required. * Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs * Punctuality and reliability to complete tasks in a timely manner * Strong attention to detail * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to perform physical work such as moving and lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods of time, etc. *Visit our website:* www.atllabfood.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Paid sick time * Paid time off Ability to Relocate: * Belmont, MA 02478: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
