1st Shift Machine Sorting Operator

EJOT ATF is looking for 1st Shift Machine Sorting Operator that will set up and operate all sorting machines including packaging and labeling boxes. *1st Shift Hours: 5 AM - 3 PM* *Saturdays as needed.* * *Position Responsibilities* * Set up and operate multiple sorting machines as defined within department training matrix and or Employee Development Form. * Weigh/count parts, seal boxes, apply sorting sticker and apply labels on each box or tub for next operation * Pull and organize WIP to be sorted behind each resource based on priority/demand * Understand and follow all customer specific requirements as required * Participate in all safety related educational/training events and observe all policies including annual member safety program through WCTI. * Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor * Assist with forklift responsibilities for sorting machines and tables * Ability to use micrometer and caliper *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities* * Basic Maintenance repair on all Sorting machines * Set up and operate all machines in the Sorting Department * Basic Reading, writing, and math skills * Knowledge of potential non-conformities for wide variety of parts * Ability to lift 50lbs and/or utilize team lifting guidelines should item exceed weight limit for a single lift. *Education and Experience* * High School Diploma or the equivalent formal experience required * Machine set up and basic maintenance repairs * Forklift experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.50 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Parental leave * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
