They serve the entire community and offer personalized in-home care, and many have been recipients of Home Care Elite awards.So whether you're looking for the buzz of a large city, the tranquility of nearby mountain bike trails or something in between, we encourage you to explore our organization.Job Summary:Provides speech therapy services to patients with speech, language or swallowing disorders.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:Master's Degree: RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredAmerican Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): PreferredValid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: RequiredEssential Functions:Assesses and documents speech therapy data related to patient assessments, patient care needs, interventions and outcomes.Identifies changes and trends throughout physical and emotional parameters.Reviews treatment plans and assesses individual performances to modify, change or write new programs.Maintains documentation as required by law, establishment policy and administrative regulation.Instructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational Requirements:Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
