he Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is hiring for an early to mid-level MD or MD, PhD clinician with expertise in hospital-based neurology. This position will be located at UM Capital Region Health in Largo, MD.Salary range $300,000.00 -330,000.00 annualDepartment Essential functionsClinical responsibilities include care of inpatients on the general neurology and stroke services.Care of patients in the step-down neurology Intermediate Care Unit, and neurological consultations in the emergency department.Neuro-hospitalist will work closely with the stroke, neurosurgery, neurointerventional, neurocritical care, and epilepsy teams.Note: The intent of this list of primary duties is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities of this job. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
