CT Tech Location: Fredericksburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,686 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: VA License Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, ARRT Advanced Certification Must-Have: - Must have VA license in hand. - ARRT certification. - BLS certification. - Advanced certification in CT must be obtained within one year of hire. - One year of relevant experience. Description: Prepare patients for CT examinations by confirming physician orders. Verify patients' identities and obtain adequate medical histories. Ensure the appropriateness of examinations to facilitate timely and accurate diagnosis. Perform CT examinations/procedures on all patient age groups. Maintain clinical competency by completing an annual competency-based orientation tool. Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, standards, and protocols. Ensure effective departmental operations and quality patient care. Typical day includes cardiac imaging, abdominal/pelvic scans, chest scans, and head scans. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of CT services and activities. Maintain a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Support and follow established safety management programs. Adhere to radiation safety practices. Effectively interact with students, providing supervision and instruction. Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies. Document and file patient and procedural data accurately. Participate in performance improvement activities for the CT section. Administer contrast agents following established guidelines.
