BaristaCafé Leon Dore is looking for Part Time & Full Time Baristas to join the team in New York, reporting directly to the Café Manager. Our Baristas will be responsible for running all front of house operations whilst delivering an exceptional guest experience.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform opening and closing procedures of the cafe i.e. dialing in the espresso for the day, brewing coffee and tea, dusting and cleaning all display cases and ensuring storefront is up to standardShowcase an excellent understanding of the menu, delivering food and beverages as per brand expectationsMaintain all café standards from opening to closing whilst adhering to relevant health and safety standardsGreet customers with a genuine and warm welcomeOffer answers to questions and concerns with patience, confidence and professionalismMaintain professional image while on duty with well grooming hygiene and prescribed uniformInfluence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional QualificationsMinimum 1 year experience as a BaristaKeen attention to detailDemonstrates a passion for exceptional customer service and experienceComputer and till system experienceExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy environmentFlexible working hours Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbsAbility to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basisAbility to stand and/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift (at least 8 hours).Ability to withstand exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to curbside, truck unload, etc.Salary Range: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
