This senior role requires conducting electromagnetic compatibility tests and environmental qualifications for railways signalling devices. A strong background in EMC standards and principles is essential, alongside troubleshooting skills to support the design team. You'll be responsible for preparing detailed project documentation and leading subcontractor efforts on specific EMC site measurements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct EMC tests on railway signalling devices
Perform environmental qualification tests including temperature and humidity
Prepare comprehensive EMC documentation for customer approval
Lead subcontractors on EMC site measurements
Participate in ISA committee audits on EMC standards
Requirements
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Strong EMC testing experience is essential
Understanding of EMC concepts like grounding and surge protection
Familiarity with EMC measurement tools
Ability to mentor junior team members
Drive safety-critical projects by leveraging your EMC expertise in this impactful engineering role.
