Senior QA Engineer / SDETSan Francisco, CA (Hybrid) | Series B AI StartupWe're looking for a hands-on QA Engineer / SDET to help build and scale quality across a rapidly growing AI product used by enterprise customers.What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.Own end-to-end testing strategy, CI/CD quality gates, and release validation.Partner closely with software engineers and product teams to identify issues early and improve development velocity.Drive quality across a fast-paced environment where reliability and user experience matter.What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in QA, SDET, or Test Automation roles.Strong experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.Experience testing APIs, backend services, and modern web applications.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing best practices.Startup-minded, highly autonomous, and comfortable owning quality from strategy through execution.Nice to HaveExperience testing AI/LLM-powered products.Background building testing infrastructure from the ground up.Experience in high-growth startup environments.Compensation$100,000–$150,000 + equity
