If you're eager to contribute to a thriving and stable organization while maintaining your confidentiality, continue reading.The Senior Adaptive Planning Solutions Analyst is a hands-on, independently operating individual contributor responsible for the design, build, and support of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions across key planning domains. This role partners closely with FP&A, Operations, and other business stakeholders to translate planning requirements into scalable, high-performing models that support enterprise planning and execution.This individual owns solution delivery for assigned planning areas, applies Adaptive Planning best practices, and collaborates closely with senior planning architecture leadership to extend the organization's planning capabilities and drive a more connected planning ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesIndependently lead requirements gathering and working sessions with FP&A, Operations, and other stakeholdersTranslate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and UAT scenariosPartner and collaborate with senior planning architecture leadershipProvide recommendations on planning model design, assumptions, and trade-offsDesign, build, and enhance Adaptive Planning models, including sheets, dimensions, calculations, and assumptionsOwn solution design for assigned planning areas with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainabilityApply Adaptive Planning best practices to ensure consistent, user-friendly, and efficient modelsSupport enhancements, redesigns, and ongoing optimization of existing modelsMonitor data integrations and model outputs to ensure data accuracy and integrityTroubleshoot and resolve data quality, mapping, and reconciliation issuesPartner with data engineering and integration teams on end-to-end data flowsApply foundational data modeling concepts including hierarchies, mappings, and star schema principlesPlan and participate in UAT testing and deployment activitiesFollow established change management and release processesSupport production issues and post-deployment stabilizationIncorporate user feedback and evolving business needs into solutionsDevelop and maintain model documentation, technical specifications, and user guidesParticipate in design and build reviewsStay current on Workday Adaptive Planning capabilities and industry trendsIdentify opportunities to improve planning processes, model design, and user experiencePerform other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required5+ years of experience in IT, Finance, or a related business function required3+ years of experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights) or similar EPM / planning platforms requiredProven experience building and supporting budgeting, forecasting, or workforce planning solutions requiredExperience leading requirements discussions and working sessions with business stakeholders requiredExperience supporting data integrations, ETL processes, or upstream source systems preferredExposure to other EPM platforms (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, Oracle Cloud EPM, SAP BPC, SAP SAC) preferredExperience working across multiple planning domains (Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR) preferredStrong understanding of planning processes across Finance and related business functionsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skillsAdvanced Excel skills for analysis, validation, and reconciliationExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiencesFamiliarity with Agile delivery practicesInterest in growing toward broader solution design or platform leadership responsibilitiesAbout KēSTA I.T.:Our name says it all; KēSTA I.T.
