Medical Assistant The Infusion for Health team is growing again! We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. The Certified Medical Assistant will provide support to our team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, in delivering exceptional patient care. At Infusion for Health, our mission is to provide safe, exceptional infusion therapy in a comfortable, patient-focused environment.This is a Full-Time position, Monday -Friday. That is right- no weekends or overnights! We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and dedicated front-office team member. The Medical Assistant is the first impression at our clinics and is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling patients, answering phones, and gathering appropriate medical records for referrals.Key Responsibilities:Greet patients, obtain medical history and vital signs, and record information in electronic health recordsPrepare infusion suites for patient visits and assist with exams and procedures as directed by the nurse practitionerAdminister medications and injections as ordered by the providerPerform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory testingSchedule appointments and assist with patient check-outCommunicate with patients, families, and caregivers regarding health education and follow-up careQualifications & Experience Needed:BLS Certification (Required)Certified Medical Assistant (Required)Medical Assistant: 2 years (Required)Vital signs: 1 year (Required)Experience with front office tasks like answering phones, scheduling, etc.Experience with insurance benefits investigation and authorizations.Must have EMR/EHR experience. Minimum of two years of recent experience.Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.Ability to maintain an effective and organized environment to ensure timely patient flow.The hourly pay range for this role is expected to be between $20-$23. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
