What you’ll own You’ll operate as the go-to authority on VDI across complex, multi-stakeholder production environments — designing, optimizing, and resolving issues no one else can.Architect, design, and maintain a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environmentServe as the organization-wide SME for diagnosing and resolving VDI performance issuesProvide Tier 3/4 escalation support to system administrators across the enterpriseOptimize desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between VDI technologiesDrive process automation and improvement initiatives to reduce operational overheadManage identity lifecycle across the VDI environmentConduct trade studies and make “build vs. buy” recommendations with confidenceApply deep technical expertise across disciplines and operate in complex, multi-stakeholder production environments What you bring to the table Must-havesActive TS/SCI clearance5+ years of progressive VDI experience (Administrator through Senior Engineer), with a B.S. degree or equivalentHands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and laterCitrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)Citrix NetScaler / ADC / VPXCitrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM) and App LayeringLiquidware Profile UnityHyper-V and VMware VDI experienceFamiliarity with HP AnyConnect and LeostreamExcellent written and verbal communication skills — you’ll work across teams and stakeholders at all levels Strong differentiatorsExperience managing Windows Server clusteringInfrastructure as Code exposure: Terraform, Ansible, or similarSystem Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) or VMware vCenter 6.7Active Directory and Group Policy administrationHome directory, profile management, and desktop software provisioning Your clearance. The salary range for this position is typically $145-$155k.
