Remote PCB Design Engineer

Designing and creating printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, the contractor-level Remote PCB Design Engineer will work full-time in a remote capacity, collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure that all specifications and requirements are met while managing the PCB design process. Key responsibilities Place and route components on PCBs to meet electrical and physical specifications Develop and generate drawings and documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly Rework PCB designs based on engineering changes and assist the design team with solutions Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or at least 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree Experience with ECAD software applications, preferably Siemens Xpedition Knowledge of PCB design technologies and layout techniques Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation Ability to create component ECAD library footprints and schematic symbols as needed
