Client Lead- Support SpecialistPrimary responsibilities:Client relationship leadManage technical issues and requests using a ticketing systemProvide support for core infrastructure and desktop technologiesResponsible for technical troubleshooting, data gathering and gap analysis for issues impacting end users and infrastructureLead major incident and problem management response tasks and identifying risks to the technical infrastructureManage data center infrastructure remediation/expansion activitiesProject Manager and lead small operational projectsSecurity and patch managementBasic Qualifications:8+ years' experience with Windows/Linux Platforms (More experience with Windows in preferred)5+ years providing onsite support5+ years' experience with Virtual environmentsRequired Skills:Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software or networkingKnowledge of cloud-based solutions around compute, storage and networkExperience working with PCoIP technologies such as RGS, TGX and LeostreamExperience with VMWare and/or virtual server environment administrationExperience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) implementation and supportStorage configuration and management (monitoring, allocating and troubleshooting)Experience with Zabbix or similar monitoring/alerting solutionsExtensive knowledge of Windows OS and application security vulnerability remediationCreation and maintenance of detailed documentationExperience installing, supporting, and configuration of virtual systems and associated networkingKnowledge and understanding of a wide range of technology and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in highly integrated and interconnected systemsHands-on hardware experience; builds, upgrades, repair including onsite Data Center activitiesWorking knowledge of networking equipment and conceptsExcellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)Strong team and interpersonal skillsProvide support on a M-F business hours schedule, also responsible for on-call, extended hour, and weekend support as required by project or priority one situations.Desired Skills:Experience in network configurationExperience supporting Oil & Gas Technical InfrastructureKnowledge of Geoscience and Reservoir engineering applications, data and workflows including Reservoir Engineering and Seismic processing clusters (High Performance Computing)Experience packaging applications using PDQExperience with maintenance and support of AppsenseNote: This is a hybrid position (home office and onsite)
