Public Relations Manager - Luxury, Jewelry

Creative communications agency, FKA, is looking for an experienced PR Manager to join our NY-based Jewelry team. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, has proven working relationships in place with editors at top-tier fashion, lifestyle and business outlets, and has specific experience within the luxury and jewelry markets. RESPONSIBILITIES Secure meaningful press coverage for jewelry and accessories clients, including features and product editorials as well as thought leadership opportunities Maintain strong relationships with key editors, writers and targeted influencersDevelop and execute strategic communications plans Demonstrate forward-thinking planning capabilities with creative ideation in community building, brand partnerships, activations and unique storytelling Interface with clients for all press opportunities, event logistics, media monitoring and reporting Strong abilities in story angle development, pitch writing, daily product placement and media tracking Daily account management duties, including developing agendas, recaps and monthly status reports REQUIREMENTS Minimum 3-5 years experience at a PR agency or in-house at a luxury or D2C jewelry brand Strong writing skills Superior knowledge of media practices, as well as an excellent track record in garnering top-tier coverage in print and digital media Deep understanding of jewelry/luxury market, trends and landscape Must have ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment with a positive attitude Excellent time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at one time Experience managing junior team members
