Essential Job Responsibilities: Greet all members & guests with a smile and wish them well as they exit the club Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures Facilitate any messages on club software at member check-in Answer phones in courteous, helpful, professional manner Communicate special events to members and guests Maintain an atmosphere, which makes members feel welcome Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager Maintain professional disposition at all times Schedule member services: tanning, personal training, etc. Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures Know club facility, services, and schedules Responsible for external Membership Sales, bringing the business in. Gives tours and trial memberships to prospective members. Activate new memberships. Upgrade existing members into memberships of greater value. Contact members that are past due and/or in collections Engage in opportunities that positively impact the member experience. Adhere to all operational excellence standards related to providing a great member experience. Consistently look for opportunities to gain new members and gain new Personal Training clients. Reach and surpass monthly sales projections. Qualifications: Previous sales and customer service experience a must. Fitness club experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition Personal passion for health and fitness Enjoy working within a team Willing and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays Apply with a resume!
