This position focuses on educating and supporting patients enrolled in medication therapy programs. The ideal candidate is self-driven, communicates effectively, and is committed to helping patients and supporting team goals.Key ResponsibilitiesWork Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shiftsProvide education and counseling to patients on specialty medicationsEnsure compliance with program guidelines, regulatory requirements, and drug protocolsMaintain accurate and complete documentation following industry standardsEducate patients on side effects, treatment options, and medication adherenceIdentify and report adverse events and product concerns to appropriate authoritiesSupport patients and providers by verifying medications and ensuring continuity of careFollow patient engagement schedules, including regular follow-ups and medication managementMaintain patient records, including demographics and medical history, in compliance with HIPAACollaborate with pharmacy and support teams to ensure timely medication deliveryQualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact state or North Carolina license required)Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or higher degree in NursingWillingness to obtain additional state licenses within 3 months (supported by employer)Minimum 4+ years of nursing experience; acute/inpatient care required, oncology preferredStrong computer skills (email, MS Office, web-based systems)Excellent verbal and written communication skills (motivational interviewing is a plus)Ability to interpret clinical standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirementsComfortable working in a hybrid setup (onsite + remote)
