Java Software Engineer

Job Title: Java DeveloperLocation: Rutherford, NJ (Hybrid)Duration: 6 months (Right to Hire)Job OverviewWe are seeking a talented Java Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable applications using Java technologies. The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.Participate in code reviews and unit testing.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams.Optimize application performance and scalability.Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, and Multithreading.Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.Experience developing REST APIs.Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.Experience working in Agile environments.
