We combine modern automation, software-driven process control, and materials science with hands-on foundry execution to deliver complex castings faster, more consistently, and at scale.Job SummaryAs a Production Manager you will lead the hourly foundry operators responsible for the full investment casting process from pattern production, to pouring, to post-processing. This isn't a desk-based management role; we are looking for a leader with a high degree of tenacity for hands-on, gritty operational work who can navigate a technical manufacturing landscape and has lived on the factory floor taking personal accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and yield. You will set the operating cadence of the foundry while building the team, processes, and discipline required to scale.This position's internal job code is Manager, Production. We are currently hiring for Level 4.ResponsibilitiesServe as the individual accountable for foundry operations across multiple shiftsEstablish the organizational structure and recruit requisite personnel to build a world-class team of Operations TechniciansEstablish the shift cadence, ensuring the team meets safety, quality, delivery, and cost metricsOwn onboarding and training programs for the hourly foundry operators, establishing a culture operational excellence via effective development and application of each individual's skillsManage operational improvement initiatives to eliminate hazards, prevent non-conformances, reduce lead time, and drive down cost by challenging requirements and applying creative thinkingSet and champion organizational policy and standards that enable production autonomy, foster an environment of continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirementsAdvocate for the operators and ensure their perspective and feedback is represented across all aspects of the business, from day to day tasks to executive strategy and planningFacilitate cross-functional relationships to inform/execute improvement opportunities, ensure alignment of priorities between organizations, and focus efforts to relentlessly drive down lead time and labor hoursMinimum Qualifications4+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industries2+ years of experience directly managing non-exempt manufacturing personnel in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industriesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven track record of inspiring operators, building consensus across cross-functional teams to overcome operational blockers, and driving complex initiatives to completion on budget and scheduleFunctional understanding of production tracking, scheduling, and manufacturing systemsPreferred Skills/ExperienceDemonstrated ability to scale production throughput in a high volume manufacturing settingFamiliarity with aerospace or defense manufacturing quality systems4+ years of experience directly managing non-exempt manufacturing personnel in aerospace, automotive, or commercial industriesBachelor's degree in an engineering disciplineDirect experience with investment casting processes including shell building, burnout, pouring, and finishingAdditional RequirementsMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as neededSummary Pay RangePlease note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline.
