This role focuses on community outreach, testing services, client education, and linkage to care, helping individuals access critical health resources.This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about public health, community engagement, and making a direct impact.HIV Testing & Client ServicesProvide HIV and STD testing, outreach, and education servicesConduct pre- and post-test counseling on HIV/STD prevention, transmission, and careCollect oral specimens and complete lab documentationClient Coordination & SupportManage client flow and ensure a positive, professional experienceSchedule and maintain appointments for testing servicesLink HIV-positive clients to medical care and community resourcesSupport clients in maintaining access to medication and ongoing careOutreach & EducationConduct community outreach, including evening/night eventsPromote awareness and education around HIV prevention and testingDocumentation & ComplianceAccurately complete assessments, case notes, and lab requisitionsAssist with data entry and monthly reportingFollow all universal safety precautions and program protocolsTeam CollaborationParticipate in staff meetings and ongoing trainingSupport program goals and quality standardsWhat We're Looking ForCertified HIV Counselor with HIV 500 & 501 certifications (required)Experience xmcpwfu in HIV testing, outreach, or public health programs preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with solid documentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, community-based environmentWillingness to work evenings/nights for outreach eventsCompensation & Benefits$36,000-40,000401(k)Health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offFlexible scheduleProfessional development assistanceWork LocationIn-person role based in:Miami Shores, FL
